It seems these few days streamyx just got better on the http download/upload speeds. I have made some testing on 2 types of streamyx package and found out that a 1mb package can downloads up to 155kbs, and on 512mb package the speed increased from 30~40 to 50~60kbps.
Uploads speeds also increased, tested with 512mb package uploading to filefront.com can reach up to 155kbps, here's the snapshot of the speed attained.
However there is claimed by users and most p2p forums, streamyx is throttling p2p applications. My tests via torrent also shows that the speeds tremendously dropped from 55kps to 5kbps on my 512mb package.
There is no certain to why is this dropped performance is happening, but I remember that quite sometime ago TM did announce that the will try to blocked p2p applications which mostly are sharing copyrighted products.
